Awesome deliveries

Two posts in two days, sorry about that but I really do have to show you what the mail lady has delivered.

Firstly from the TTE2 pincushion swap I was really fortunate to be on the receiving end from Laurie.  A while ago I spotted a beautiful pin cushion she had crafted on her blogspot and even commented on how lovely it was.  Well, it actually came my way001 and isn't it just delightful?  Take a closer look at all the fine stitches and the dear little pair of scissors charm.003002  Along with the pin cushion Laurie had sent a 025 post card (part of the conditions of the swap) This one is so vibrant and really cheered up a grey over cast day.  Thank you again Laurie.  You already know how much this means to me.

The next delivery (actually, deliveries), were the result of seeing a 'Tilda' doll button on Shiree's blogspot.  I hadn't been exposed to Tilda before - why hadn't someone warned me of what I was missing?  Then I saw some great Tilda snails posted on a blogspot - yep I had to make those too.  All the Tilda projects are just too cute!!! So card in hand I let my fingers do the walking again - poor fingers, they really are getting RSI. So without further ado here are the purchases, t001here is another one on it's way but I think it's taking the long way around the Earth to get to NZ from neighbouring Australia.  So now I have to decide which of the current projects become UFO's for a wee while so I can get started on a few Tilda projects.  My first one already has the templates drawn up - it's an angel, a soft doll with real thighs - no skinny minnie here.  So, on that note I'll toodle off and start yet another mess in the sewing room while I search through the stash - tee hee
