Rolling On

Another little pillow filled and trimmed – yeah, this sewing mojo has certainly kicked in.

Now I’m trying to complete the quilting on another quilt that I made as a sample for our Strippers Club.  Trying is the operative word though.  For  some reason my little Pfaff will stitch quite nicely for about 4 inches and then the tension seems to tighten and the thread breaks.  Arghhhh!  I’m only meandering on this quilt and I’m using Signature thread – as I always do. Oh and yes, I have changed my needle and done all of those pre quilting thingies.  Any ideas as to what may be the problem I would oh so welcome – meanwhile I’ll go and find some more hand stitching and let myself and my little Pfaff cool off.

Have a great day

I’m adding a little wee PS to this post – another little bolster finished, this time the colours are much stronger and with Spring in the air the yellows remind me of the daffodils that are trying to bloom and the pink?  Well, I just liked it ; )

Now for a change of style – I’m off to the land of knots – ‘Candlewicking’, after all the 2 stranded work it will feel like stitching with rope.

Have a great weekend everyone.
