Wonders Will Never Cease

 

My goodness, I’ve surprised myself this time – I’m actually blogging with a couple of finishes and it isn’t even the end of the month!  Wonders will never cease.

Firstly, following our last ‘Strippers Club’ day there were a number of scrap leftovers from the Black/White & Lime quilt.  They sat there in the basket staring at me and daring me to throw them out.  After trying to hide them a number of times I still couldn’t bring myself to throw them out, so, without bothering to match points or ‘nest’ seams, I stitched most of the bits together and, taa daa

…another quilt, this one is for DD number 2.  Although the colours are way out of my comfort zone – I’m a country girl – the lime is really starting to grow on me.

Earlier this week I had a customer bring me in a  picture of a cushion she would like me to make for her.  Always up for a bit of a challenge I told her that I would and to give me a few days.

This one needed to be done in black/white and red.  (There must be a bit of a black and white trend going on at he moment).

Anyway, the cushion design was a Cathedral Windows variation and I did it in a variety of B&W fabrics with a vivid red  and around the outside edge I piped in just plain black. So, here it is:

I so hope my customer is as happy as I am with it.

Now onto a few more finishes and hopefully they will get done and reported on long before the next OPAM totals are due.
