Where were we? Oh yes that's right... the next bit from our journey was really special.
A special delivery of this little beauty, yeah, another mini pillow that I'm so happy to add to my growing collection. A special delivery by a special lady and friend.
Recognise this lady here on the right? I apologise for the poor photography, I'm no Chookyblue with a camera.
Yep, it's our very own Miss Deb. How cool, Miss Deb, DH and I got together for lunch and a natter. Actually my dear man kind of ate and ran knowing that I was so looking forward to sharing time with Deb. He's also a wee bit shy and doesn't like having his photo taken so this one is the best I could get.
Deb and I spent an hour or so chatting, the thrill of sitting sharing lunch with a kindred spirit was awesome. We then strolled through some of the mall shops before DH and his list announced that it was time to move on to our next location. Whoopie, a Bunnings shop, hardware, yeah, not!!!
The following morning saw us heading home back through the snow capped alps
On our way home we have to pass Castle Hill, aka, Middle Earth, Hobbit Territory. These rock formations are in a paddock on the side of the road and they are at a guess 10 metres high. The owner of the property allows people to walk up to them and even climb some. This is also the area where some of the Lord of the Rings movies were filmed - hence the reference to Middle Earth. Frodo, where are youuuu?
So there you have it, my quick visit 'over the hill' to the big city. I hope you enjoyed the photo's that have brought you to our beautiful spot in paradise.
Sounds like a good time was had by all parties... the views were amazing thank you.
ReplyDeleteDH can't see to much of him but his eyes look gentle, and a good suntan to boot makes me jealous.
Hugs Laurie
