Latest Release

After teasing over the last few months and sharing snippets of my stitching I can now finally share with you our latest release:

Letters In Magnolia’

003

Because of it’s size  (40 x 75cm),it’s a little tricky getting a good photo and I am well aware that I am far from a great photographer, so I’ve taken lots of close up shots so you can se the stitches, lace and pearls that I have included in this pattern.

007

013Magnolia letters 1

This stitchery is really a very simple one stitches include Satin stitch, Stem stitch, Lazy Daisy and  Colonial Knots. Easy right?

The little pearls add a bit of ‘bling’ and the lace used is a variety of modern and vintage lace that has been ‘tea dyed’.

Yeah, another addition for OPAM.  Thank you for letting me share our latest pattern.

  2. That looks just beautiful... I am very bais towards embroidery.... I have just spent almost the whole day watching old recordings of most of the past Alex ( whats her names ) Quilt programme that used to be on the Living channel, they were lent to me and terrible recordings as well...amazing how much we have come forward on the quilting we do these days but it was very interesting on the "tips" it included.

  5. What a beautiful piece of stitchery Miche'le - it is so elegant looking. I don't do much handwork these days( other than bead) but I do love the look of embroidery. My mother has made many beautiful pieces over the years.
    Happy Stitching,
